Casa Olivar is a family-run guesthouse that started up in 2019.

The guesthouse's name means "the house in the olive grove» and describes the location perfectly!

It is situated in the middle of an olive grove, making the area sheltered, peaceful and beautiful.

 

The guesthouse is located on a small hill and has 12 acres of Spanish atmosphere to offer. Casa Olivar contains two buildings, the main house (Casa) and a smaller house (Casita). 

The main house is over 100 years old and is built in genuine Spanish style with thick walls, whitewashed facade and typical Spanish windows.

The casita is newly built and considerably smaller but kept in the same style as the main house.

Both buildings are renovated and have the facilities one has come to expect in a guesthouse.

 

We have 5 guest rooms all with private bathrooms, a large common room, veranda and a breakfast terrace overlooking olive groves and Sierra Nevada. In addition, there is the possibility of a meeting room for groups.

 

The outside common area includes a swimming pool, jacuzzi, barbecue, billiards, darts, fishpond,

a petanque court and several seating areas.

 

The nearest village is called Tocón which has some tapa-bars, a shop, bank, church, chemist, café and is within easy walking distance of Casa Olivar.

In short driving distance are several other towns with a larger selection of shops and restaurants.
