Five reasons why Casa Olivar is perfect for groups:

1. Perfect location and size
Casa Olivar is set in a peaceful olive grove with great views of the Sierra Nevada. Just half an hour away is the city of Granada with a wealth of history, shops, sights and pleasant dining options.
Casa Olivar is big enough to accommodate groups of up to 10 guests, but still so small that when a group comes, they can have the whole place for themselves. In fact, the group doesn’t need to be more than 7 people before we make the guesthouse unavailable for other guests and the group can "Rule the ground!"

2. On-site facilities make it easy to stay "home".
Even though it is exciting to experience and see new places, it can sometimes be tiring to be on the go all the time.
Members of a group are different - one wants to spend a whole day in a museum, while others want go swimming or shopping. It is impossible to satisfy absolutely everyone at the same time, but it is good to be able to offer an alternative namely staying “at home”. At Casa Olivar there are both swimming pool, Jacuzzi, Petanque court, darts and pool table. In addition, there is a large pond with fishes that gives a pleasant and tranquil atmosphere. There are many seating areas and the opportunity to have delicious food and drinks served where and when the guests wish.

3. The standard

We are not a "luxury hotel", yet we want to maintain a high standard of what we offer. This applies to both the food, the rooms and the tours. The food is Spanish-inspired, and we try to use as many local products as possible. We offer a rich breakfast, lunch and dinner. We encourage guests to eat their meals in different places. For example, we can gladly serve you in the patio, by the pond, in the space under the fig tree or in the olive grove!
We have 5 bedrooms. Three twin/double bedrooms -en suite, one double bedroom -en suite and one single room with private bathroom. The beds are comfortable, and we have good linens. Guests have a large living room with fireplace, terrace and several outdoor seating areas.
In order to make the tours most convenient for our guests, we have a 9-seat bus in addition to a car. By taking care of the tours ourselves, we can be very flexible. If the group is tired after a late night in town and wants to sleep longer the next day - we move the breakfast a few hours and delay the outing – easy!
4.The hosts

It's hard to write about oneself! Nevertheless, we acknowledge that the hosts play an extremely important role in a place like this. We live on- site and thus will inevitably see and be around our guests for much of the day. This is a lifestyle we have chosen and look forward to having.
All four of us have fortunately some experience with running a guesthouse prior to this adventure, so we have at least a clue as to what we have taken on.
We make up a team that complements each other well and together we hope to be able to attend to our guests in a good way. Although we have recently started, the feedback has so far been positive, so we are optimistic and hope that future groups also will enjoy their stay.

5.Price

There is a jungle of prices out there in the media and online when it comes to travel, holidays and group tours. It is difficult to compare, especially because the offers are different, and the "packages" have different contents. However, we believe that we are competitive on price.
A group staying here does not pay any extra for the benefit it is to dispose of the whole place for itself.
On tours we are happy to let you wander on your own and pick you up when you are ready or stay with you and show you around. No difference in price.
If the group has a budget – we can discuss options and form the trip so that we keep within the budget.
We are convinced that you as a group will enjoy your stay here and hope to hear from you!
